How to access Goalsetter 
  • Login to your Solutions Bank online banking. 
  • Click on the Goalsetter offer found on the top menu bar in your online banking. 
  • Download the Goalsetter app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 
  • Once you download and are in the app, select Sign up. 
  • Enter the Program ID and Customer ID shown when you click the Goalsetter offer in your online banking. 
  • Continue through the onboarding process.

Fraud Awareness & Prevention Presentation




Shari and Eddie from our Poplar Grove branch shared valuable fraud prevention tips with local high school students as part of the Boone County Rotary Grant project. The event was a success, and the students did a great job playing our Spot the Fraud game!
 


Jeans for a Cause




Our Jeans for a Cause 2025 Q1 Donation goes to Boone County Animal Services! 🐾 They will be using this donation to pay for vet bills that come up. The mission of Boone County Animal Services is to promote animal welfare, safe housing, and responsible pet ownership. We’re proud to support their amazing work!
 


Estate Planning Seminar




This month we hosted an Estate Planning Seminar at both our Freeport and Forreston locations. Experienced attorneys from Plager, Krug, Bauer, Rudolph & Stodden Ltd. discussed common questions and reviewed current trends and new developments in estate planning.

Didn’t make it to either of these events? Don’t worry! We’ll be hosting one more estate planning seminar at our Durand branch on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30pm.

Questions covered will include:
  • Should I have a will or living trust?
  • What is a living trust?
  • What is probate?
  • Do I need a power of attorney?
  • Should I make lifetime gifts?
  • What makes up my estate?
  • How will I pay for nursing home care?

Fraud Awareness




Beware of the Grandparent Scam

In a typical Grandparent Scam, a fraudster poses as a grandchild in distress—or someone claiming to represent them (like a lawyer or police)—and urgently asks for money to cover fake expenses like bail, legal fees, or hospital bills.

The scammer often begs the victim not to tell anyone, especially the child’s parents. After the money is sent, the “grandchild” disappears, leaving the victim out hundreds or thousands of dollars.

How to Protect Yourself:
  • Be skeptical of urgent requests for money, especially via wire transfer.
  • Always verify the story by contacting the family member directly using a known number.
  • Watch out for late-night calls meant to disorient you.
  • Report suspected scams to local authorities and NCL’s Fraud Center at Fraud.org.
